Arch of the Dean

  • Arch of Dean, Zaragoza

This is one of the most emblematic corners of our city. It originates in the 13th century, when a construction was planned, which would connect the cathedral to the new house of the dean, head of the chapter after the prelate. The current arch, well restored, responds to the reform carried out in the 16th century. The most outstanding part of this work is the windowed balcony, with windows in Mudejar tradition.

Currently, it belongs to a financial institution and after its restoration it has been used as a museum and residence for illustrious visitors.

Address: Street of the Dean, 5
