Ainsa-Sobrarbe. On 16 September, fiesta of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
Ayerbe. At the end of the month of January the Conversion of St. Paul is celebrated with folk dances and pilgrimage to the Saint’s chapel. On 1 June, procession to the shrine of the Virgin of Casbas.
Barbastro. Procession to the shrine of Our lady of Pueyo on 15 april. Fiesta of San Ramon Obispo, when bonfires are lit, on 20 and 21 June.
Benabarre. On 20 January, St. Sebastian, and on 8 June. Sr. Medarc when the shepherds’ dance and the palitrocs are interpreted.
Benasque. Ball de Benas. 30 June, during the festival of St. Marcial. It is held after the procession through the streets of the town. In the afternoon, the ball de les dones, which only women take part in, can be seen.
Binefar. 14 September, Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
Boltaña. On 23 January, fiesta of the Conversion of St. Paul, typical serenades and ploteau.
Fraga. 26 August, Fair of St. Bartolome.
Graus. Patron Saints of the Holy Christ and St. Vicente Ferrer. They include typical dances with the participation of the warlike figures Caballez and Furtaperas. They are held from 12 to 15 September.
Hecho. September festivals with “cheso” verse contest.
Jaca. Desfile de la Victoria (Victory Procession). First Friday in May. Fiesta of tourist interest. It commemorates the victory of the people from Jaca over the Moors thanks to the women. It is a spring festival with disguises, where the typical and attractive hats with flowers and mirrors stand out.
Larrode. Fiesta of St. Pedro, on 29 June, with processions to the Pre-Romanesque church and mass according to Mozarabic rite.
Monzon. On 20 April, Our lady of Alegria. There is a procession to the Virgin’s shrine.
Plan. Since 1985 the so-called festival of the bachelors of Plan has been held in Spring, on dates which vary. During this festival the boys of the valley invite firls in marriage age.
Sabiñanigo. Carnival celebrations.
Sallent de Gallego. On 14 September. Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
San Juan de Plan. Carnivals. They preserve all the richness of their tradition, as can be seen from the processions with the typical and attractive dress of the valley, accompanied by serenades, castanets and dances, and the straw doll that symbolises the Carnival.
