Ainsa & Boltana

Ainsa is the historic capital of the Sobrarbe region. Located between the Ara and Cinca rivers, points the access to Broto and Bielsa valleys.
Ainsa main square is one of the biggest and well conservated of Spain. You can see part of the old defensive walls of 11, 12 and 14 centuries. Ainsa medival streets will engulf you with that history period. We recommend visiting the 16 century castle and the different medieval defensive perimeters of the village, that were the sentinel of this area of the Aragon Pyrenees against the Moorish Spain attacks.
