Aragon provides exceptional conditions for practicing ski and snow sports. The snow in Aragon is a strong attraction: seven alpine ski resorts and nine areas for cross country skiing, with more than 300 kilometres of ski slopes. Aragon is a mainly mountainous region.

The Aragon Pyrenees (where the majority of the three-thousands of the whole Pyrenees can be found), the Outer Mountain ranges (from the Sierra of Santo Domingo to the Sierra of Guaralas), the Iberian mountain ranges (The Moncayo, La Virgen, Vicort, Cucalon) or the mountain ranges of Teruel, such as Albarracin, Javalambre, Maestrazgo and Gudar, offer us the best scenario to satisfy all our desires of aventure, going for short walks through luxuriant woods, visiting small mountain lakes, going on crossings or climbing up hills and peaks.
