La Republicana is a popular bar located between Zaragoza's El Tubo tapas district and Calle Don Jaime, which serves good tapas at reasonable prices. This old-fashioned bar is decorated with an beautidul mixture of Spanish retro knick-knacks and photos from the 30s.
La Republicana speciality is huevos rotos, a delicious mixture of fried potatoes and eggs enough to comprise a meal in itself. Also remmended the patatas con mojo (potatoes with spicy sauce), the curried chicken with pineapple or blue cheese and caramelized onion toasties. It's an old-fashioned café decorated with an eclectic mixture of Hispanic retro knick-knacks, photos and a piano.
