Home » Tapas Bars, Zararagoza City
The narrow streets and small plazas south of La Seo harbour some brilliant tapas bars, ideal for cooling off with a beer and a bite on a warm evening. On Plaza Santa Marta El Gargantua, Cerveceria Marpy, Vitorinos II and El Lince are all appealing; El Gargantua and Marpy specialise in excellent (although not cheap) seafood tapas. Nearby, the tight little bar Casa Amadeo (c/ Jordan de Urries 3) provides seafood raciones (meal-sized serve of tapas) for as little as €3.60.
La Calzorras (Plaza de San Pedro Nolasco) has tantalising larger-than-tapa specialities for €3 to €4, including tostadas (toasted bread) with smoked salmon and Cabrales cheese. There’s yet another string of tapas bars towards the southern end of c/ Heroismo. In El Tubo there are several cosy old-style tapas bars with comedor in the back.
