The 3 star Hotel Hospital de Benasque is located in the Posets Maladeta natural reserve and next to the Aneto mountain peak. It is a cosy and familiar hotel, open all year round. In summer, it’s ideal for mountain activities (Nordic walking, hiking, high mountain). In winter, it is perfect for winter sports as it’s right by the Nordic ski resort, Llanos del Hospital. Inside the hotel, the stone walls, the locally crafted wood furnishings, and the hand-painted decoration, give a typical and warmful mountain atmosphere that make Benasque’s Valley different from the other valleys of the Pyrenees.
The Hotel Hospital de Benasque has existed in this place for many centuries to offer travellers who cross the pass to France a safe place to stay during their journey. The cuisine of the Pyrenees Mountains has some natural and original ingredients that make its taste different: mushrooms, wildfruits, venison, veal, etc. All those original products are combined with the nouvelle cuisine in the restaurant La Fuenroya, to offer different and exquisite plates.
The ski resort of Cerler, the highest resort in the Aragon Pyrenees (between 1,500 and 2,858 meters high), is enlarging and modernizing to offer the best commodities to its visitors. In summer, is possible to practise a wide variety of such as: paragliding, climbing, scaling, trekking, horse ridding, golf, fishing, water sports, canyoning and cycling.
